About Me

I’m a programmer, investor, entrepreneur, and musician.

I have always had an insatiable curiosity for knowledge. I hate reading instruction manuals–I learn by doing. I believe that the word failure should be abolished, because it a needlessly negative characterization of how people learn.

I have a BS in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan. I used to work at Motorola, designing FPGAs and ASICs for wireless devices in a really fun R&D group. Now I’m a founder of Farehelper, a tool for travelers whose mission is to automate the travel search process so people can save lots of money on flights and hotels while we do all the work for them. I think it’s pretty cool.

Outside of technology, I’m obsessed with all things musical, and taught myself to play guitar and piano.

I also trade stocks and derivatives.
